(Columbia, SC) -- The first death row inmate is scheduled to be executed since the state implemented options for firing squad or electric chair.
The clerk of the State Supreme Court has set April 29th for Richard Bernard Moore to be executed.
Moore has been on death row for more than two decades for the murder of a convenience store clerk in Spartanburg.
He now has the choice between electric chair or firing squad since South Carolina's Supreme Court added the options last year due to a lack of lethal injection drugs.
