(Columbia, SC) - A lawsuit challenging South Carolina's execution methods is moving forward.
A judge ruled Thursday that lawyers for four death row inmates could look into claims from state officials that they can't obtain lethal injection drugs.
This comes after South Carolina determined the electric chair and firing squad would be their methods of execution.
The decision comes just ahead of the execution of Richard Bernard Moore scheduled for April 29th.
If the execution happens, Moore would be the first person put to death in the Palmetto state since 2011.
