(Richland County, SC)- Richland County is seeing more homicides in 2022 than all of 2021.
The Coroner's Office tells WIS-TV there have been 31 homicides so far this year, compared to 30 total last year.
Six of the homicides this year involved victims under the age of 18.
The Lexington County Coroner's Office has seen nine homicides this year compared to 22 total last year, while the Orangeburg County Coroner's Office reports seven homicides this year and a total of 26 in 2021.
