(Sumter, SC) -A Prisma Health employee is dead after a fight with a patient last month.
Twenty-seven-year-old Imani Cox was admitted to the Tuomey Hospital in Sumter on a court-ordered evaluation.
Hospital security and staff reportedly tried to detain her when she tried to leave the facility on May 27th.
Forty-year-old Kevin Robinson was struck in the groin, got sick, and became unresponsive. he died a few days later.
Officials say an autopsy will be performed Friday and Cox is charged with assault and battery.
