(Richland County, SC)- A civil lawsuit over a Richland County incident is being settled.
In January of 2020, former deputy Kyle Oliver pulled a woman to the ground by her hair.
Her attorney now confirms the lawsuit against Oliver, other deputies, and the sheriff's department has been settled for 72-thousand dollars.
Oliver was fired over the incident and arrested on assault and battery charges.
Oliver faces a second lawsuit over alleged actions he took when he was a deputy.
