(Colleton County, SC) -- Alex Murdaugh is pleading not guilty to murder charges.
His first court appearance was in Colleton County Wednesday after being indicted by a grand jury for the death of his wife and son.
Murdaugh is accused of using two different weapons to kill 52-year-old Maggie Murdaugh and 22-year-old Paul Murdaugh.
Alex Murdaugh has been in jail for months as he faces a slew of other charges in connection to alleged financial crimes.
