(Columbia, SC) -- South Carolina House lawmakers will be debating abortion legislation at the State House today.
The two-day debate comes after the House Judiciary Committee voted on a measure that would ban nearly all abortions.
It would include an exception for a number of health conditions that would put the mother's life at risk.
The South Carolina Senate will return September 6th to debate what the House votes on.
