(Columbia, SC) -- The South Carolina Senate will return to the State House today to consider an abortion ban.
The measure would prohibit abortions except in the case of rape or incest up to 12 weeks or if the mother's life was at risk.
It was passed by the House last week.
It will be discussed by the Senate Medical Affairs Committee at 10 this morning.
