(Columbia, SC) - Governor McMaster wants Congress to repeal the armed forces vaccine mandate.
South Carolina's governor was among 21 GOP state leaders to ask for the repeal Wednesday.
The COVID-19 vaccine mandate was authorized on August 24th of 2021.
A letter from the governors who want it repealed says this has led to active duty service members being discharged and recruitment numbers not being reached.
