(Columbia, SC) - South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster says he will call for a rehearing with the state's highest court on a six-week abortion ban.
This promise was made as part of McMaster's 2023 State of the State address.
McMaster received a standing ovation from Republicans at the State House Wednesday after saying he will request the South Carolina Supreme Court rehearing.
The speech was McMaster's sixth State of the State address.
