A woman is severely injured after being attacked by dogs in Sumter County.
Deputies found the woman in a ditch Sunday morning. One dog tried to attack a deputy, who shot and killed it, while the other dog ran away and was not found.
Deputies are working to determine who the dogs belonged to and say that the dogs shouldn't have been allowed to roam freely and that all pets must be humanely restrained.
