(Forest Acres, SC)-- The town of Forest Acres has a new mayor for the first time in nearly 30 years.
Councilman and Mayor Pro Tem Tom Andrews ran unopposed and was elected mayor in Tuesday's election.
Andrews succeeds Frank Brunson, who had served as mayor of the Richland County town since 1995.Brunson announced his retirement in February, effective at the end of his term.
