(Colleton County, SC)- The date is now set for Alex Murdaugh's state trial.
The former attorney will face 100 state financial crime charges on November 27th.
This is in addition to the federal court hearing scheduled for next Thursday where Murdaugh is expected to plead guilty to federal charges.
These court proceedings are happening as Murdaugh serves two consecutive life sentences for the 2021 deaths of his wife and son.
