(Beaufort County, SC)-- Alex Murdaugh's attorneys are asking for his financial trial to be held in a different location.
Murdaugh faces over 100 financial crimes in South Carolina in a trial set to start November 27th.
But his defense team says publicity from Murdaugh's six-week murder trial will make it hard to find a fair and impartial jury in Beaufort County.
This comes after Murdaugh pleaded guilty to federal financial crimes back in September.
