(Bamberg, SC) -- The National Weather Service will dispatch a team to the Bamberg area to see if a tornado touched down there.
A tornado warning was issued before 3 p.m. Tuesday for Bamberg, Orangeburg, and St. Matthews.
Troopers with the South Carolina Highway Patrol are reporting damages to buildings, downed trees and power lines, and debris from the storm.
The National Weather Service will evaluate that damage as part of their assessment.
