(Lexington County, SC)-- A man accused of killing a 4-year-old in 1986 is facing trial this week.
Opening statements are expected in the trial of 63-year-old Thomas McDowell today.
He's accused of kidnapping and murdering Jessica Gutierrez in Lexington over 30 years ago.
McDowell's defense team motioned to have the trial dismissed on Monday, but the judge denied the motion.
