Someone being detained in Richland County is dead after being found unresponsive in her cell.
Officials with the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center say the 22-year-old woman was in the cell by herself when she was discovered around 10:30 p.m. Saturday. This is the first death at the facility this year after three deaths there last year.
The Richland County Sheriff's Department and Coroner's Office are investigating.
