(Cayce, SC) -- A staff member at a South Carolina school is accused of assaulting a student with developmental needs.
An arrest warrant obtained through WIS shows that the bookkeeper at Cayce Elementary School allegedly shoved the nine-year old into the wall and down on the floor, before she then lifted him up and pushed him back into the wall.
Students were able to get a hold of a school resource officer.
Police arrested the woman for assault and battery, while the school district has placed her on administrative leave.
