(Anderson, SC)-- A veteran running for a South Carolina House seat is dead after a car crash.
Eric Childs was reportedly killed in a collision early Friday morning.
He was running for the District 6 House seat in Anderson County.
Childs was married to Jessicka Spearman -- a candidate running for South Carolina Senate.
