(Columbia, SC)-- The House and Senate are approving a state budget for South Carolina.
The 13-billion dollar budget for the 2024 to 2025 fiscal year was passed Wednesday.
It includes pay raises for state employees and teachers, funding for road and bridge repairs, and a permanent income tax cut.
The budget goes into effect Monday.
