(Columbia, SC) - The South Carolina Supreme Court is ruling that death row inmates can be executed by lethal injection, electric chair, or firing squad.
That means once the state's highest court issues an execution order, any three of the methods could be carried out.
Currently, inmates are able to choose the method of execution.
This comes as 32 inmates are on death row in South Carolina- and an execution has not happened in the state since 2011.
