Tropical Storm Debby Makes 2nd Landfall

(Undated) -- Tropical Storm Debby has made landfall in South Carolina.

It's the second landfall this week for the storm that first roared ashore Monday morning in Florida's Big Bend area as a Category 1 hurricane.

The National Hurricane Center confirms Debby made landfall overnight near Bulls Bay, South Carolina, just about 20 miles northeast of Charleston, with maximum sustained wind speeds of 50 miles per hour.

The storm has already been blamed for at least six deaths this week.

It's now forecast to slowly make its way north into North Carolina, Virginia and beyond.
