(Columbia, SC)-- Alex Murdaugh will be able to plead his case to the state Supreme Court.
The justices agreed yesterday to take up Murdaugh's appeal of his double-murder conviction.
His lawyers claim the Colleton County clerk of court tampered with the jury by having conversations with them.
Murdaugh was convicted of killing his wife and son, and he was given two life sentences.
