(Columbia, SC)-- A Fairfield County man is charged with murder.
The Lexington County Sheriff's Office announced yesterday Winnsboro's Edward Leroy Smith was arrested Tuesday for a deadly stabbing last month.
The 39-year-old allegedly stabbed Caldwell Melton Motley, Jr. to death. His body was found in a burning garage on Oak Ridge Lane.
Smith is being held without bond. Deputies are also searching for another man they believe is connected to Motley's death.
