Two detention center guards in Richland County are facing charges.
Two women were arrested last week after deputies found meth and other substances during an unscheduled vehicle search during a shift change for Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center workers. This comes after multiple overdoses have been reported among inmates at the facility.
Both of the women arrested have since been released on bond.
