(Bowman, SC) -- FEMA is temporarily suspending outreach activities in Orangeburg County.
The agency made the announcement following what the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and South Carolina Emergency Management called a "safety incident". A
ctivities were stopped at the Bowman Library on Monday out of an abundance of caution after a disruptive community member showed up.
It is not yet known if FEMA will reopen a site at that location.
