State Sees Steeper-Than-Normal Gas Price Decrease

Gas prices across the state saw a double-digit drop in gas prices in the past week.

The state's average gas prices decreased by eleven-cents, brining down the average to two-dollars-and-72-cents. The price is about three-cents per gallon cheaper than last month, and 19-cents less than a year ago.

The cheapest gallon of gas in South Carolina was two-dollars-and-41-cents per gallon over the weekend. The most expensive was three-dollars-and-39-cents per gallon.
