(Columbia, SC) - The National Weather Service is confirming a tornado that happened on Lake Murray into Chapin. The EF-1 tornado happened Sunday morning, according to NWS. It had estimated peak winds of 90 miles per hour- causing tree damage in the area. No injuries or deaths have been reported as a result of the tornado.
