South Carolina shoppers will be able to get certain items without paying state sales tax this weekend.
The state's annual Tax Free Weekend starts Friday and runs through Sunday. The South Carolina Department of Revenue says items like school supplies, computers, clothing, and shoes will be exempt from sales tax during those three days.
The Tax Free Weekend applies to online purchases of the qualifying items as well.
