A former Greenville County postmaster and another woman face prison time for wire fraud.
Former postmaster Patricia Sullivan and Sharon Johnson pleaded guilty to federal wire fraud charges. The two are accused of scamming people out of more than three-hundred-thousand dollars.
The women collected funds from potential investors on the pretense they were working with producer Tyler Perry to take a book to the big screen when in reality it was just a rip-off.
Sullivan and Johnson could get a minimum sentence of 20-years and pay thousands of dollars in restitution to their victims.
