Site Of Former Greenville Bakery Gets Civil Rights Historical Marker

The site of the former Claussen Bakery in Greenville now has a civil rights historical marker.

On Friday, the marker was dedicated during a ceremony that included a speech by the Reverend Jesse Jackson.

Some 35-hundred people were on hand to commemorate Doctor Martin Luther King Junior's 1967 speech he gave in Greenville in support of striking African-American bakery employees.
