(WOLO) – A husband and wife and a third suspect have been arrested as part of a Camelot Lane murder investigation, Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott announced Thursday.
The body of Benjamin Johnson, 37, was found lying on the ground around 9 p.m. on January 20 in front of a residence in the 6500 block of Camelot Lane.
Lott said Johnson was fatally shot in the upper body following an altercation between Sherman Green Jr., 30; Porchia Green, 25, and Roosevelt Durham Jr., 28.
The trio allegedly meet Johnson to purchase marijuana.
Green Jr. is charged with murder, obstructing justice, and conspiracy to distribute marijuana and his wife is charged with conspiracy to distribute marijuana.
Durham Jr. is charged with murder and conspiracy to distribute marijuana.
The Richland County Sheriff’s Department Fugitive Task Force and the United States Marshal’s Office arrested the Green’s Wednesday in Rock Hill at a relative’s home.
Durham Jr. was arrested on Thursday at a residence located on R L Coward Road in Hopkins.
Richland County Sheriff’s Deputy Department Investigators recovered a handgun, drugs, and scales from the crime scene, authorities.
