Sumter residents are complaining about brown water coming into their homes.
A city official says most residents have clear drinkable water. He also says several dozen homeowners get brown water occasionally.
Testing has shown higher than acceptable EPA levels of iron in the brown water. There has not been any action to fix the problem yet.
