Fifth District Race Already Crowded

The seat is not vacant yet, but the race for South Carolina's Fifth Congressional District is already crowded.

So far, five Republicans have announced their bids for Congressman Mick Mulvaney's seat. Mulvaney is set to be confirmed by the U.S. Senate as the director of the Office of Management and Budget.

If Mulvaney is confirmed, a special election is expected in June.
