A 43-year-old man who led deputies on a chase through the Summit neighborhood in northeast Richland County is under arrest.
A spokesman for the sheriff's department says the chase happened around noon yesterday and ended when the driver crashed into a tree.
The driver was charged with driving on a suspended license and failure to stop for deputies. No one was injured.
