The Lexington traffic bottleneck at Corley Mill Road and Hwy 378 has town administrators trying to get creative about how to raise money to upgrade and create new roads around that intersection.
More than 57,000 vehicles use it daily, and that includes I-20 traffic exiting onto 378, and 4 nearby schools.
What's being proposed is about $106-million in private investment, as a new series of property developments are planned for the area.
