A man is facing charges in a hit-and-run that killed two South Carolina Department of Transportation workers and injured another.
Troopers arrested Lonnie Dean Miller yesterday in the hit-and-run. The workers were hit yesterday morning just east of I-520 near the Georgia-South Carolina state line.
Two workers were pronounced dead at the scene and the third suffered minor injuries.
