Man Named In Fraternity Wrongful Death Lawsuit Wants Name Removed

A fraternity brother listed in a wrongful death lawsuit of a Clemson student is asking for his name to be removed.

His attorneys have made a motion to dismiss the lawsuit against Samuel Carney saying there is not enough evidence to hold him accountable for the death of Tucker Hipps.

Hipps died falling from a bridge during a hazing incident while pledging Sigma Phi Epsilon in 2014.
