The director of communications at Limestone College in Gaffney says shots were fired on campus.
The man apparently drove onto campus around 6:30 last night and fired two shots in the air in the parking lot of Timken Center before fleeing. Officials do not believe the man is a student.
Authorities say a student gave police a description of the car and the license plate number. Police are investigating.
No injuries were reported.
