A number of concerned parents and supporters of Brookland Cayce High School's embattled varsity soccer coach, Kevin Heise attended the Lexington District -2 school board's meeting last night.
He was suspended following an in-classroom speaking incident February 9th, but because this issue of the coach's "administrative leave" and subsequent absence was not on the formal agenda, supporters were not allowed to speak.
The attorney for the district and the superintendent, denied commenting. A day-old online petition supporting Heise has more than 1400 signatures.
