The Richland County Public Library is a finalist for the second consecutive year, for the nation's highest honor, the prestigious National Medal for Museum and Library Service Award, because of the numerous community-oriented programs and activities it sponsors.
The Richland facility is one of just 15 libraries in the entire country that are finalists for this honor, and the only location in the Palmetto State.
