Seventh-seeded South Carolina capped off its remarkable run in the East regional with a 77-70 win over fellow SEC East foe Florida to punch its first Final Four ticket.
The Gamecocks trailed by seven at the half but rallied behind 26 points from Sindarius Thornwell and a swarming defense.
The Gamecocks will take on top-seeded Gonzaga, which cruised past Xavier 83-59 to win the West Region on Saturday.
The Final Four is Saturday at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. A win would send the Gamecocks to the national championship game on Monday, April 3rd.
