State Struggles To Attract Workers

There are jobs available with the state of South Carolina. Of the state's 10 largest agencies ranked according to employment, nine of them have more than ten percent of their positions, available, with the department of corrections heading that list.

One of the biggest problems the state faces, local government and private sector jobs pay more, and the workload for state employees is apparently increasing. Current workers are hoping state lawmakers will approve a raise.
