Fort Jackson will soon be home to a three-million dollar Centennial Park after receiving a donation from the Gateway to the Army Association.
The association presented the award at the site of the new park yesterday. The park will be built at the GAA training center.
A Soldier's Statue and an amphitheater will be part of the new park, which is being built in celebration of Fort Jackson's 100th Anniversary on June 2nd.
