The City of Columbia is considering raising you water bill, in order to raise some $93-million dollars for coming projects.
Calling it a storm-water fee increase, it would mean a $5 per month jump, starting in 2018, then a 6.25 percent hike, each year for the next four years.
The council is also mulling over a 4.75 percent water rate jump. Voting on these measures could happen in next month.
