DNA records confirm that the body found near McNoll on Sunday belongs to the eight-year-old girl, Iyana Lowery, who's been missing for over a week.
The man accused of murdering the her mother, Ella Lowery, is getting additional homicide charges after the coroner made a call on the young girl's cause of death.
Authorities dropped the charges pressed against one man who was arrested earlier in the case. Jejauncey Fernando Harrington was arrested and charged with murder, kidnapping and possession of a weapon during a violent crime and is awaiting trial in the Marlboro County Detention Center.
He now faces robbery and another homicide charge, as well.
