Tornadoes Rip Through The Midlands

Power lines and trees remain strewn across roads in the Midlands after two confirmed tornadoes touched down yesterday afternoon.

The National Weather Service says the tornadoes touched down in Prosperity and Pomaria. At least six homes have been reported to be damaged from the storms.

Officials are asking people to stay away from the storm-torn areas because downed power lines can be dangerous. They don't know how long it will take to remove trees and debris, as well as the damaged power lines from roads in the area.
