A Midlands woman is devastated after losing seven family members when her cousin allegedly went on a shooting spree in Mississippi over the weekend.
The Midlands relative says the suspect must have snapped after his wife left him. Corey Godbolt allegedly shot and killed a Lincoln County sheriff's deputy and then went to two more locations to kill his family members.
Eight people, including the officer, died as a result of the rampage. The Midlands relative is now in Mississippi to plan for the seven funerals her family will have to endure.
