A suspect is in custody for fatally shooting a man in Finlay Park on Saturday night.
The suspect was reportedly called to the park by two women. They were allegedly being verbally harassed by the victim.
Police say the suspect brought a pistol to the park and got into an altercation with the victim. At some point, the victim was shot in the torso and later died. Police arrested the suspect on Tuesday after extensive questioning.
Officials say this incident is the first-ever homicide in the park's 27-year history.
