Columbia Firefighters Inside Home That Exploded

A scary situation over the weekend as Columbia firefighters responded to a call early Saturday afternoon in the 3000 block of Greenbriar Drive.

As the crews were battling the fire, the house exploded. Witnesses say it actually lifted off the ground, and the roof caved in. There were firefighters in the home during the explosion.

Out of precaution they were treated and released from the hospital. The investigation into this blaze continues, but officials do not believe it is suspicious or criminal.
